The Neighbor 2 Neighbor grant is important to the guests of the Community Soup KItchen because it helps maintain the stability of CSK in a very unstable time. For many of our guests, the meals they get at CSK are often the only hot meal and possibly the most nutritous meal of the day, and they depend upon us as a reliable source for their meals.

On another level we have sveral people working with us through a jobs training program. The stability of the Kitchen allows them the opportunity to continue their training, while developing a job history so that when the economy improves, they will be better able to find, and hold a job.
