A Fast Move Made Possible by the Neighbor to Neighbor Grant

Arthur* had been living comfortably until he was suddenly facing eviction. Not wanting to go through the stress of court, he left quickly and ended up in a motel. Running out of money, Harbor Health Services worked together to find him an apartment that had just become available and needed virtually no turnover maintenance.

Management approved his application in a matter of hours and with the Neighbor-to-Neighbor LifeLine funding, his security deposit and first month’s rent was paid for, allowing him to move in and acquire some pieces of furniture, food and personal items.
