Branford Counseling Helps Stop Eviction
Submitted by Branford Counse... on Wed, 03/25/2009 - 18:34
A 55 year old man owed his March rent of $1,150.00 plus a $500.00 payment on past due rent. He was being threatened with eviction. He works 30 hours per week at $10.00 per hour. His wife has stage two colon cancer, and is at Hospice. His teenage daughter, who is preganant, lost her job at the local coffee shop. He was able to make partial payment, and with the Neighbor-2-Neighbor Grant, the Center was able to make up the difference. Neighbor-2-Neighbor Grant does make a difference!
