Well we just wrapped up our first in a series of Sunday Brunches for the Homeless.
It was such a success. We served over 50 individuals a wonderful brunch that included blueberry pancakes, bacon, sausage, juices muffins etc. The line kept getting longer and longer as the hours went on. We are expecting a much larger crowd this Sunday now that the word is out.
We thank the Neighbor to Neighbor Lifeline grant that made this all possible.
I'll keep you posted as the weeks go by.
Thank you again,
Barbara Vosburgh

I heart my neighbor volunteering to help with the Third Annual Homeless Count. It happens on this Wednesday (Jan 28th) and I think it is very important to be aware of how many of our neighbors are without shelter. Another reason why we should all come together for this Neighbor to Neighbor event.
I helped my neighbors by volunteering to run a workshop at the MLK conference last weekend. I had a lot of fun, and I think the students learned a lot about what they can do in their own neighborhoods to give back!
