Help Feed 100 Families Dinner Every Night for a Month
Nearly one in four of our nation’s households with children report an inability to afford enough food. Right here in our community, over 127,000 children go to bed hungry each night. The winter months are a tough time for families struggling with hunger and food insecurity. Funding for food programs has been drastically reduced or eliminated at a time when families are relying on these services to stretch their tight household budgets.
A survey of clients served by Connecticut soup kitchens and food pantry’s revealed that 42% had to choose between paying for food or utilities, 34% had to choose between food or paying rent and 30% had to choose between food or medical care.
Donate Now to help provide warm meals to families and ensure our children do not go to bed hungry.

Help a Neighbor in Need
Your gift to Neighbor-to-Neighbor translates into life-changing help: children going to bed not feeling hungry, families able to stay in their homes instead of going to a shelter, and individuals able to keep their heat and lights on through the winter.
As a result of N2N over the past three years, almost 13,000 individuals received services to help them avert or pull out of a crisis. Specifically, N2N has provided more than 830,000 additional meals for children and adults; provided emergency shelter or housing services to prevent over 3,000 people from becoming homeless; and helped almost 1,100 people through emergency heating, medical and other assistance.
